Brent has been in the industry since he was 14 years old. He worked for Venture Drilling, Inc. out of his home town of Tahlequah, OK. He started with DBS, Inc. in 1993 and has worked every position in the company. He became a part owner and President in 1998 and 100% owner in 2004. 

While Brent is very proud of all the accomplishments of DBS, Inc, his biggest pride is his family- married to Lisa and father to Emily, Brody, Zane and Lily Ann.

Outside of the mining industry, Brent and his wife Lisa are pretty devoted triathletes. Living a healthy life while working hard is a habit that he enjoys sharing with others.

Kirt began drilling in 1995 working for High Bottom Services in Columbia SC. In 1996 he came to work for DBS, Inc. He has worked as a drill technician, field supervisor, safety manager and his current position, Director of Operations/Training with DBS, Inc.

Work requires alot of his time, but Kirt is a devoted husband and father to Johanna, his wife of 29 years and their four children Jeremy, Andrew, Jessica, and Katlin. To get away from it all and unwind, Kirt enjoys riding his mountain bike and hiking with his family and their dogs.

Jeletta Baker joined the team in 2007. She is Fleet Maintenance and Logistics Manager at DBS, with responsibility for equipment scheduling, maintenance, purchasing and inventory management. Prior to joining DBS, Jeletta taught school as a Certified Montessori Elementary Ed. Teacher for many years, and has worked in business management and operations with several major national retailers in senior management.

Jeletta’s strengths are her creativity, self-motivation, drive and leadership. She thrives on challenges, particularly those that expand the company’s reach. In her spare time she enjoys reading, listening to music, traveling and volunteering with her children in their church and community. She is currently writing what she likes to call her first novel.

Anna Behringer joined the Drilling and Blasting team in 2006 as an administrative assistant. She has since held an array of administrative positions within the company, allowing her to develop knowledge of various departmental databases and procedures. She now serves as Financial Advisor, focusing on Accounts Payable, daily cash flow, and budget forecasting.

When not crunching numbers, Anna enjoys participating in local running events, particularly 10ks and half-marathons, and considers herself an amateur movie buff.

Carol joined DBS Team in May 2007. Carol is the Accounts Receivable and Employee Benefits specialist. Carol was Office Manager and Personal Assistant to the owner of a major Tow Company in Boston, Massachusetts. Carol has also worked in Accounts Receivable for many other local companies. In Carol’s other career she was a Fire Apparatus Operator with the Rockdale County Fire Department and Fire Safety Educator, the first Female to win Fire Safety Educator of the year in 1994.

Carol is very active in her church, married to Robert and together they have 4 children and 1 grandson. Carol loves to crochet, entertain and play the Dulcimer.
